On arriving home from work I set to work abrading the primer on the flaps and ailerons. Then I mixed the paint and spray painted both flaps and ailerons. Also after installing the landing gear last Saturday I noticed the nose wheel tire was not holding pressure. I assumed that I had pinched the tube when assembling the wheel assembly so I disassembled the wheel to confirm and sure enough I had. Vans had however shipped me two tubes in my fuselage kit order so I installed the second tube. How did Van's know I would pinch my nose wheel tire tube? Smart people those folks at Van's.
